As we highlighted on the home page the only reason we have any conceivable edge against online casinos is because of their bonuses. This means I have to play through 22 times the deposit and bonus to cash out my bonus. So lets look at the math. 22x(100+100) which is 22x200 equals £/$/€ 4400 of playthrough. Impossible! Not Really. Multiply 4400 x 0.5 = £/$/€ 22 So normally we can expect to cash out our deposit which was £/$/€100 and our bonus £/$/€ 100 - £/$/€ 22 which equals £/$/€ 78 PROFIT! Great! Many times you may make more and some times you will do less and sometimes you will completely bust out! Why? Expected variation or EV thats why. Imagine I have a coin and I spin that coin up in the air 10 times. Wouldn`t I expect it to come up 5 times heads and 5 times tails? But what happens if it comes out heads 8 times and tails only twice? The law of averages tells me that it should come out 5 times equally on both heads and tails. True. But only in the long run. Ask any card counter this and he will respond with a shrug. As long as it takes to get ahead. Some people are very fortunate that they may have many wins (winning streak) in a row and they will never look back. Others will lose. There is nothing worse than watching your bankroll disappear on a bonus. But it can happen. If you can`t handle the swings of variance don`t gamble or quit your day job. But if you are patient you will eventually make a profit.
